Step 6: Register your new business with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment
Starting a Colorado Brewery involves applying for a Manufacturer’s License in Colorado, you will need to register with the Department of Labor and Employment. To register, fill out this form. This will allow you to file for a sales tax license, wage withholding account, and/or an unemployment insurance account. You will also need to complete a Colorado Sales Tax Withholding Account Application.
